WisEngineering is pleased to announce that they have successfully graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program – a program that provides management and technical assistance, as well as assistance in identifying Federal Contracting opportunities to socially and economically disadvantaged businesses.

WisEngineering has grown steadily over the past 12 years as a registered 8(a) and certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) contractor. In July 2011, we were pleased to announce our graduation from the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) certification program. We recognize that on the road to our graduation our viability as a small business has depended on the quality of services performed and the professional relationships developed with larger, more established firms. Now that we have established ourselves as a prime contractor we are focusing our efforts to develop those same relationships with current 8(a) registered firms. We understand the importance of this to providing high quality technical services by gaining input from diverse social and technical backgrounds. WisEngineering routinely seeks out minority-owned, women-owned, and emerging small business enterprises to team with us on large projects requiring a wide array of technical analysis.

The 8(a) program has empowered us to be more creative in our marketing, business development activities and our messaging to partners, clients, and the market in general. “Through clearly defining our value proposition and market niches, we have become more competitive in the Federal Contracting arena,” said Cheryl Hall (President- WisEngineering).
